About the Role

You will be the right-hand person to two successful solicitors who consistently receive outstanding client feedback. Your primary goal will be to handle the administrative tasks associated with client matters so they can focus on what they do best—representing and achieving the best possible outcome for our clients. You will assist with legal research, preparing briefings and court documents, managing client relationships, and overseeing billing processes. We have invested in excellent systems, processes, and technology solutions to help you excel in your role. Whilst we would love someone with legal profession experience if you’re somebody who is the right fit for our firm, has minimum 2 years experience in a professional office environment and excels in admin we would be willing to provide you with the support and training you need to become a Legal Assistant.

About You

We are searching for a proactive Legal Assistant who can anticipate challenges and provide effective solutions. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years in an administration role in a professional office environment. Ideally law but other professional services industries eg. finance, accounting etc would also provide you with the experience required to make a successful transition into our law firm.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and experience following formatting rules.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and administrative abilities, including diary, file, and document management.
  • Experience adapting to industry specific software to enhance efficiency and automation eg. our core software solutions are LEAP legal software and Clio client management software.
  • Some experience with time recording, billing and invoicing procedures for professional services would be highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Client management experience would be highly desirable.
