Monique is also experienced in parenting matters that involve domestic violence, drug abuse, alcohol abuse and adopted children.
She is skilled in dealing with sensitive personal issues and has represented clients who have been subjected to ongoing domestic and family violence and who have suffered from mental health issues.
Approach
Monique has an empathetic approach and takes the time to listen and understand her clients at what is the most difficult time in their lives.
Monique provides her clients with clear and practical advice and prides herself on regularly being able to negotiate outcomes through alternative dispute resolution. This allows clients to avoid the stress of commencing Court proceedings and minimise their legal costs. Despite this, in some cases it is necessary to commence Court proceedings and, in these circumstances, Monique is a strong advocate for her client’s interests.
